Why WoodVillage

Built for live resorts and island logistics

On islands where every material and every worker arrives by sea, planning and foundations decide whether a project succeeds. That is where we focus.

  1. Foundations suited to island and lagoon conditions

Precast reinforced concrete square piles and spun piles, up to 1,200 mm in diameter and in extra-long lengths. Installation by hydraulic jacking is free of noise, pollution and vibration, which matters on an operating resort where guests and neighbouring villas must not be disturbed.

  2. Speed on site

High productivity supports fast delivery of piles and structures to site, which shortens the critical path.

  3. Full scope from one contractor

Pre-construction planning, piling, structure, roofing, finishing and marine facilities sit under one team. Fewer interfaces, fewer contracts for a project manager to control.

  4. Decisions made quickly

Our headquarters and management are close to project sites, so issues are resolved on site rather than through long approval chains.

Safety standard

Safe Production

Our "Safe Production" approach treats worker safety and production efficiency as complementary. Safety is our highest priority; quality is our standard.

The boat was the first building

Every island has a boat-builder somewhere in its history. The boat was the first structure built here: hulls shaped by hand, planks fitted by eye, a village built around the sea.

Hussain Waheed was born into that tradition. His family builds boats, and growing up beside that work taught him that a structure is only as good as its joints, its curves and its finish.
